<p><strong>President AWWA, Rolling Trophy, Ethics Bowl- 2022</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The school hosted the second season of President AWWA, Rolling Trophy, Ethics Bowl- 2022. The event is held annually under the aegis of AWWA, a non profit organisation for the welfare of dependents of army personnel. It seeks to foster intellectual conviction and strong moral bearing in the future generations.</p> <p> </p> <p>Six command level teams and one Central AWWA team participated in the competition. The event took place between 16.8.22 to 22.8.22. Three Semi Final matches and quarter final matches took place through the online mode onn16.8.22 and 22.8.22 respectively</p> <p> </p> <p>The two teams which reached the Final stage were Southern Star AWWA and Central AWWA. The Final match and the Closing Ceremony was conducted on 22.8.22 at Army Public School, Delhi Cantt.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC was the Chief Guest for the event. Mrs. Archana Pande, President AWWA. Mrs Narawane, President NWWA and senior officers from the Armed Forces were amongst the other dignitaries present to grace the occasion. Principals from other service schools were also present to witness the final match.</p> <p>The judges for the final match included Mr Shiv Aroor, a Senior Executive Editor and anchor with India Today TV, Mr. Bhadra Sinha, a senior associate editor with news portal, also a Bharatanatyam classical dancer and Mr. Rahul Singh who is an author and a senior associate editor at Hindustan Times.</p> <p>The programme began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp<strong>.</strong> A cornucopia of visual delight was on display. Dances performances showcasing the talent of the students and spirit of the event were displayed. The Final match commenced with the moderator reading out the case studies and the teams presenting their carefully researched viewpoints. The discussions were found to be extremely thought- provoking by one and all present. The match lasted for an hour and a half. The Central AWWA team was declared as the winner of the final match. The event culminated with Mrs. Veena Naravane and Mrs Archana a Pande handing over the certificates medallions to both the teams. The winners lifted the Trophy amidst jubilation and rejoicing.</p>
